Cossèt Môi is an independent editorial site, and this affiliate disclosure explains how we earn from links. Some of the links on our pages are affiliate links. In plain terms, if you click one and then buy something, we may earn a commission. The retailer pays that commission, so it adds no extra cost to you. Your price stays exactly the same.
Why we tell you
We want you to know when a link may earn us money. The US Federal Trade Commission asks publishers to disclose these relationships clearly, and we share that standard. You can read its rules in the Endorsement Guides, 16 CFR Part 255. For that reason, this page names every program we use.
The programs we work with
At present, we earn commissions through these programs:
- Blue Nile and James Allen. Links to both jewelers carry our affiliate tracking code.
- Angara. Our links to Angara run through the Rakuten Advertising network.
- Leibish and other retailers, through Skimlinks. Skimlinks can turn an ordinary product link into an affiliate link automatically. As a result, links to Leibish and some other stores may earn a commission.
- The Sovrn network. Some of our older pages use Sovrn links, which work in a similar way.
Some links, however, are purely editorial. For example, the fine jewelry houses on our engagement ring page link straight to their own sites. Those links earn us nothing.
How we choose what we feature
Our editors choose every piece on its own merits. A commission never decides what appears on a page, or where. In fact, many of the pieces we feature earn us nothing at all. Before a ring goes on a page, we also open its product page to check it is available.
That said, prices and availability change, sometimes daily. The retailer’s site always holds the current details, so please check there before you buy.
